Inbetween shows and rehearsing, we've been working on a lot of new material recently. All of the new songs are character studies - currently represented folks are:

8 - The Trucker
9 - The Weather Forecaster

Ms. Rosemont sounds positively angelic on the cuts we've been working on. Imagine Bonnie Raitt crossed with Stevie Wonder - she just swings. The American President tells the story of a President coming to terms with aging - the last stanza goes:

"We'll spend all night just writing love songs
on every scrap of paper to find
then we'll paint out words on walls and windows
lining the bedsheets, lining the pillows
and when we've filled out bedroom
we can write on each other's arms and on our eyelids
that love, tonight, is yours to give."
